Small setup. Thoughtful result.

A simple way to
notice their return.

Welcome Back does one thing: paired phones recognize each other nearby, and you get a welcome-back notification.

01

Start with both phones.

Install Welcome Back on two Android phones. Allow nearby-device and notification permissions, and turn monitoring on.

02

Pair by choice.

Share your pairing code with someone you trust. Enter their code on the phone that should receive their arrival alert.

03

Let the welcome happen.

After a paired phone has been away for at least two minutes, its next nearby detection triggers one notification.

Your people. Your pairing. Your privacy.

Nearby feels better
with boundaries.

Bluetooth and local Wi-Fi help paired phones recognize each other. Your pairing information stays on your device, without a developer-operated cloud account.

A connection you choose.

Pairing starts with a code someone deliberately shares. You choose whose return you want to notice.

Presence, kept local.

Nearby discovery uses Bluetooth and the same local Wi-Fi network. There is no GPS map or movement history.

Less noise. More living.

One return alert after an absence. No feed to check, no ads to scroll past, and no recurring subscription.

Good questions

The little details.

Simple to use should also mean simple to understand.

More help
Do both phones need the app?

Yes. Both phones need Welcome Back installed with monitoring enabled. Share and enter pairing codes for the directions in which you want to receive alerts.

How close is “nearby”?

Detection depends on Bluetooth range or discovery on the same Wi-Fi network. Walls, device hardware, network settings, and Android background restrictions can affect it. Welcome Back does not promise a fixed distance or instant delivery.

Does it keep track of where someone goes?

No. Welcome Back does not collect GPS or cellular location and does not build a movement history. It keeps a paired phone’s current presence state and most recent local detection time to manage arrival alerts.

Can I use it on an iPhone?

An iPhone version is in development. There is no public iPhone download available from this website yet. The current setup guidance is for Android.

Is there a subscription?

No. Welcome Back is designed as a paid download through Google Play, with no advertisements or recurring subscription. Check Google Play for the price and availability for your account.

A little heads-up. A warmer welcome.

Be there for
the “you’re back.”
